I'm Patrick — driven by curiosity and a healthy disrespect for "that's just how it's done."

Hello! I'm Patrick, the designer you'll find squinting at 2px padding differences at 2am. I'm a São Paulo-based product designer who probably spends too much time reorganizing Figma files and hunting for good typography in the wild (yes, I photograph store signs).

I collect design books I'll "definitely read someday," take way too many screenshots of interfaces I like, and have strong opinions about button corner radius that nobody asked for. My Pomeranian judges me for working late, but also sits on my lap during most design reviews, so we're even.

Throughout my career, I've refused to stay in my lane — starting in motion and animation, learning to code because I was tired of hearing "that's not possible," and eventually landing in product design with a toolkit that confuses recruiters. If that means writing a script, prototyping an interaction, or just understanding why the developer is laughing at my proposal, I'm here for it.

Currently, I'm a Staff Product Designer building B2B AI tools for enterprise users. The work involves designing interfaces where people's jobs depend on clarity, which means every label, every state, and every error message actually matters. No room for "delightful" micro-interactions that nobody asked for.

My main goal is to make digital products that don't make people want to throw their laptops out the window. Low bar? Maybe. But you'd be surprised how many products fail it.

When I'm not designing, I'm probably walking around São Paulo with my Pomeranian, falling down Wikipedia rabbit holes about design history, learning how to DJ (and actually getting pretty decent at it), or at the gym making sure my body doesn't completely rot by the time I'm 40. I also spend an unhealthy amount of time staring at Grau/Aesop/Muji websites for "research" (it's definitely research, not procrastination).
